[French Bistro] The Green Table, Seoul

I was to see a friend of my close friend.
She wanted to go to The Green Table at Bangbae, near a hot spot called Seo-rae village, in fact, that's where I live in.

The restaurant had green and white decorations all over the place, and it was DIY-ish. It is funny but restaurants like it doesn't serve good food, from my short experience, and I was right.

They had two types of menu: one for à la carte, and one for full course. Since it was morning (at least for me, I woke up at 11 and got there by noon) I decided to choose one from Brunch.

Quiche Platter seemed good in picture - 6 small square shaped quiches on a plate. Well, that's it. I don't want to challenge Egg Benedict in an unknown restaurant. My friend went for English Breakfast, and the friend that I am introduced today got Onion Soup.

What a deep regret I had right after tasting drip coffee ! The coffee was burnt, had no sour taste at all and the flavour was so weak. I had no choice but to pour a jug of milk in there. Well, it is okay to drink café au lait, isn't it ?

So I waited for my platter, and it turned out to be a quarter of Fungi & Bacon Quiche. Disappointment came over to me. Where is my five other small quiches ?
Actually, I can't call it Fungi, because the chef used only one kind of mushroom - buttone mushroom. She cooked it very well, because the surface had beautiful crust, but the cream was rather greasy. Pie was too hard and dry. The only delicious thing was home made yogurt with citrus confiture.

Quiche Platter with coffee was 20,000 Korean Won (about $18), and it's overpriced in my opinion. But I'll go there again to try some main dishes. Who knows?
